MYTHIC MOVEMENT
Description
MYTHIC MOVEMENT
[ myth ▾ movement (tantric hatha) ▾ mantra ▾ meditation ]
A three-part series exploring the deities of yoga and Tantra; not simply as stories or sacred images, but as living archetypal forces and innate frequencies within nature, consciousness, and ourselves.
We begin with myth and symbolism, entering the stories and qualities of Durgā, Kālī, and Pārvatī. From there, myth becomes movement: an embodied Tantric Hatha practice designed to explore these qualities directly through the body, breath, attention, and energetic experience.
Each session culminates in mantra and meditation, creating space to move beyond the external image of the deity and recognise what the deity points toward within our own experience.
Tantra teaches us to weave the sacred and mundane together into the tapestry of life. MYTHIC MOVEMENT is an invitation to recognise these ancient forms as qualities we are constantly experiencing; and to bring them into the body, into practice, and into daily life.
“Myths are clues to the spiritual potentialities of the human life.” -- Joseph Campbell
