Every child has strengths that deserve to be seen and celebrated. Too often, the world focuses on what’s hard instead of what’s beautiful, capable, or unique.

Join this conversation with other parents and carers to talk about noticing and nurturing our children’s strengths. We’ll discuss how this can build confidence, connection and joy.

Share your experiences and talk about things like:

The strengths you see in your child

What it feels like when your child’s strengths are overlooked or misunderstood

Helping family, school and others see and value your child’s strengths

Celebrating your child for who they are, not only what they can do

This is an online peer group

Virtual MyTime brings parents and carers together to talk and connect over topics families may be navigating.

Guided by a facilitator who is a peer, with space to hear from families, share your own experiences, or just listen.

This peer group discussion is not recorded, to respect and protect participants’ privacy.
