Naarm Guitar InFormal 2023

A Classical Guitar Community Competition and Showcase:  Fostering Connections, Creating Opportunities.

presented by Connie Chamber Collective, held in Richmond Town Hall.

Sunday October 29th, 1-4pm.

Competition categories:  Grade/Book 4 and below; Grade/Book 4 and above;  Chamber guitar ensemble of two to six members.  Competition winnings include cash prizes.

Connie Chamber Collective aims to foster and champion chamber music for the classical guitar, and seek to facilitate making connections between guitar players and creatives.  We encourage all performers, particularly those who have not felt welcome or safe in traditional settings, to join us as a competitor or as someone seeking to meet like-minded players.  We encourage and prioritise the compositions of women and female identifying composers.

Running Order: 1pm:  Doors open.  1:15pm Showcase performances begin.  Break to mingle, browse and talk to luthiers and visit display room 

2:30pm  Competition begins.  Competitor entrants will be contacted after they select the competition ticket to co-ordinate repertoire and competition categories.
