Event description

Showcase and competition for Classical Guitar.

Showcase includes the winners of last years competitions, Connie Chamber Collective, and Melbourne Suzuki Guitar Ensemble.

Competition rules:  open to any guitarist.

First category:  AMEB grade 4 or Suzuki book 4 and below.

Second category:  AMEB grade 4 or Suzuki book 4 and above.

Competitors are limited to seven minutes and up to three pieces per turn.  Entrants will be contacted after registering to submit sheet music.  We recommend quality over quantity - better to play one piece beautifully than two pieces not so well.

Prizes are $100 per category.  Supported by Yarra City Town Hall Grant program, Pedicini Guitars, and Altamira.

Competition entries close Friday 25th October.
