The Annual Director of the Year Awards recognizes the leadership and accomplishments of board directors in New England. This is the 16th annual Awards Ceremony for the National Association of Corporate Directors New England Chapter. NACD is the premier organization that empowers directors and transforms boards to be future-ready. Through education, guidance, and best practices we reach more than 20,000 members across 20+ chapters nationwide.
Each year, the NACD New England Chapter recognizes independent directors of public, private, and non-profit boards who have made valuable contributions to the boards on which they serve, as well as entire boards that have significantly protected or enhanced stakeholder value. The Chapter annually honors directors and boards in these categories:
- PUBLIC COMPANY BOARD OF THE YEAR - Waters Corporation
- PRIVATE COMPANY BOARD OF THE YEAR - Devoted Health
- MYRA H. KRAFT AWARD FOR NON-PROFIT LEADERSHIP - Bob Rivers
- LEADERSHIP IN CORPORATE GOVERNANCE - Ronald P. O'Hanley
- R. ROBERT POPEO LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT IN GOVERNANCE - David Roux
