    Event description

Join us during NAIDOC Week 2024 for an Art Walking Tour exploring some of the incredible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art On Campus at UQ St Lucia.

Beginning at the UQ Art Museum in front of the monumental 2024 Window Commission Old Girls Yarning in the Night (2024) by Rosella Namok, join a UQ Art Museum Mediator in a relaxed walking tour around campus as they share insights and stories of some of the UQ Art Collection's most incredible works.

Tours will be amplified with a portable PA system. The tour route will involve some light to moderate walking, will be wheelchair accessible and will include some ramps and inclines. The tour will be outside, so please plan accordingly for weather with hats, sunscreen, or umbrellas.

These tours are free and are a part of UQ NAIDOC Week 2024. They are presented by UQ Student Services and UQ Art Museum.
