NAIDOC Week 2025: Boomerang and Magnet Decorating
Event description
Join us at Macquarie Centre as we honour NAIDOC Week 2025 with a special cultural celebration for our youngest community members!
Bring the kids along for fun and meaningful hands-on activities where they’ll decorate their very own boomerangs and/or magnets guided by the talented team from Balgarra Designs. These interactive workshops are a wonderful opportunity for children to learn about Aboriginal culture, art, and storytelling through creativity and colour.
Each child will take home their unique boomerang and/or magnet as a keepsake of their NAIDOC Week experience, while gaining a deeper appreciation for the world’s oldest living culture.
Let’s come together to celebrate the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
Dates: Tuesday, 8 July and Wednesday, 9 July
