HISTORY:

Cacao ceremonies has been performed for 1000’s of years by the indigenous tribes of Central America and Cacao was considered to be the ‘Food of the Gods’, an association that gave rise to the scientific name of the cocoa tree, Theobroma cacao, from the Greek words Theo (God) and broma (drink). It was also so valuable to be used as currency. According to both archeologists and Mayan spiritual elders, the Cacao Spirit was one of the most powerful deities in ancient Mayan cosmology.

CEREMONY:

During the ceremony we drink raw organic cacao paste from Mexico infused into a beautiful elixir with other sacred plants and superfoods. We share of what we want to let go and what we are calling in, we create an intention, we hold space and we explore and expand through sound, movement, breath and meditation. This gently opens your heart and brings new opportunities for personal and relationship growth. You will also activate your higher chakras and glands and have insights on how to direct your Life Force Energy upward and inward. These altered states of consciousness will open you to the potential of your life force energy as a spiritual platform for accessing extraordinary states of reality and Bliss.

PREPERATION:

- Avoid drinks from caffeine on the day of the ceremony

- Refrain from eating anything within 3 hours before the start of the ceremony

He is a accredited and a advanced practitioner in his line of medicine work.

Tane is very passionate about working with the gifts of sacred medicinal plants and animal medicines from all around the world. He comes from Aoteaoa/New Zealand and has a deep respect in ancient indigenous medicines, traditions and protocols and has spent most of his life traveling and working around the world learning and growing his skills and knowledge in many modalities to bring a full medicine bag of offerings to share.

He also believes strongly in the teachings of ancient traditions, rituals and prayers from his maori ancestry and other indigenous cultures. This has lead him on the red path as a Sundancer which traditions come from the native American Indian Lakota tribes. Tane’s Maori ancestry comes from the trunk of the Ngapuhi tribes and he direct descendant of Maori chiefs, warriors, healers and storytellers. He has a deep desire to continue and further his knowledge from indigenous healers, leaders and elders and our biggest teacher the mother earth.
