Feeling stuck? Need motivation to get started on the habits and creating the life that you want? Want to live a more purposeful life that is aligned with your values? Authenticity Aotearoa & JCI New Zealand is bringing you a 4-week programme to help you find your values and purpose, and create a roadmap for living your authentic purpose. Kick off 2021 with this investment in yourself, together with a circle of peers to keep you accountable! 

Programme Outline: 

  • 4 x sessions (weekly – delivered in person in Auckland / online if unable to join in person):
    • Session 1 (3 March): identify your values and set short- and long-term goals
    • Session 2 (10 March): clarify your personal purpose and learn how to leverage your network of influence
    • Session 3 (17 March): find how you might contribute your purpose for positive impact in your community
    • Session 4 (24 March): creating accountability 
  • 4 x 1:1 coaching sessions with facilitator & Certified Transformational Coach Nurain Janah
    • Individual coaching sessions to dive deeper into your challenges and refine your plan

About the Coach:

Nurain Janah is a professional speaker, trainer and Certified Transformational Coach on a mission to create a more equitable world. She regularly speaks and coaches on topics ranging from diversity, inclusion and resilience to non-linear careers and authentic leadership. She founded Authenticity Aotearoa, a social enterprise that empowers women from migrant and ethnic backgrounds to express their authentic selves and works with organisations to create culturally competent and inclusive workplaces.

She is also an experienced director having held governance roles in start-ups, social enterprises and charities over the past 8 years. She currently works as a Senior Consultant in the Turnaround & Restructuring Strategy team at one of the Big 4 accountancy firms. 

Nurain was the 2018 National President of JCI New Zealand and served as a Committee Member assigned to Europe for the JCI Advocacy Committee in 2020. Nurain was recognised in 2020 as one of the University of Auckland 40 under 40 alumni for her contributions in the business sector. She represented New Zealand at the 2017 United Nations Commission on the Status of Women advocating for marginalised voices. She was recognised as a finalist in the 2017 New Zealand Women of Influence Awards and awarded the Waitematā Local Board Good Citizens Award for services to the community in 2015.
