Symphonic Miniatures of the Napoleonic Guitar
Duos and trios on period instruments, performed by Jonathan Paget, Morgan Remaj, and Craig Lake.
This concert combines three international-calibre artists in a very special concert on period guitars from the Napoleonic era, in works by L'Hoyer, de Fossa/Haydn, and Diabelli--all performed in the stunning and resonant acoustic of the Church of the Resurrection Swanbourne. Join us for this very special event.
Jonathan Paget is Associate Professor of Music at the WA Academy of Performing Arts, ECU, and a highly-active WA musician (including his scintillating recent performance for Musica Viva and Perth Festival alongside the Darlington Quartet); Morgan Remaj is an early guitar and theorbo specialist with a burgeoning European career, currently based in Basel, Switzterland; and Craig Lake is a highly-respected WA musician and educator.
