The Centre for Learning and Children's Rights Incorporated (CLCR) is an Australian, not for profit, organisation engaged in providing education, health care services and development aid for underprivileged children in Nepal. www.forchildrights.org We coordinate three major projects across Nepal. 1: Heartland Academy school and tertiary college, Kathmandu (Est. 2008). Delivering, high quality, practical, violence free scholarship education to students, predominately young women from the Dalit caste from Nursery/ pre-school to tertiary college level. www.heartlandacademy.edu.np 2: Heartland Centre for Women (HCW)-(Est. 2023). HCW is a brand-new tertiary college based in Kathmandu, established specifically for women across the country, delivering courses in Law, Health Science, Business Management and Hospitality. A health care clinic focusing on screening and the initial treatment of Cervical Cancer. As well as counselling and educational support in areas such as menstrual and maternal health. www.forchildrights.org 3: Heartland Academy, Palpa (HAP)-(Est. 2023). CLCR's second Heartland school in the remote village of Jagbadi, Palpa, offering co-education to over 100 children from Nursery to primary grade 6. www.heartlandacademypalpa.com
