A Night for Nepal: Nepalese School Disaster Recover Fundraiser
Description
A Nepalese Cultural Dinner & Fundraiser
Experience the flavours, music and spirit of Nepal, right here in Narrabri, while helping rebuild brighter futures for children in Nepal.
Join us for an extraordinary evening as the Narrabri community comes together for A Night for Nepal — a celebration of culture, community and generosity, all for a wonderful cause.
Narrabri is fortunate to have a strong Nepalese community, and this beautiful evening is brought to us by the Namoi Hotel’s head chef, Sandip Kadka, and our local Nepalese community. Together, we invite you to celebrate their culture and show our support for the children and families in Nepal as they rebuild their schools and communities.
Enjoy a delicious array of authentic Nepalese cuisine, an open bar, vibrant cultural dancing and music, and a wonderful evening of entertainment, raffles and auction prizes.
It's a rare opportunity to experience the richness of Nepalese culture right here in Narrabri, celebrate the connections between our communities and make a meaningful difference to families thousands of kilometres away.
With just 100 tickets available, we invite you to be part of something truly special.
Helping Nepal rebuild
Recent devastating floods in Nepal have left communities shattered, with schools damaged or destroyed and many thousands of children facing disruption to their education.
All funds raised from A Night for Nepal will go to The Centre for Learning and Children's Rights (CLCR), to assist with rebuilding schools lost or damaged in the flooding disaster.
CLCR is a registered Australian charity dedicated to creating educational opportunities for children and young people in Nepal.
One of its projects is Heartland Academy Palpa (HAP), a school in rural Nepal providing more than 120 children with access to quality education in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment.
Through projects like Heartland Academy Palpa, CLCR is helping children access education that can transform their futures.
Your support will help extend that hope to communities now facing the enormous challenge of rebuilding after the floods.
