Wire, Wonder & Curiosity – A Day with Natalie Tonkin
An Exclusive GSAC Workshop | Limited to 8 Participants

Join us for a rare and intimate day of hands-on creation with renowned local artist Natalie Tonkin, whose intricate wire sculptures have captivated art lovers across the region. This is your chance to dive deep into the art of wirework in a full-day immersive workshop—perfect for both curious beginners and seasoned creatives.

Guided by Natalie’s expert hand, you'll craft your very own ornamental birdcage, using sustainable materials like recycled tin and copper wire. Expect a soulful, tactile journey where form meets function, and discarded metals find new life through your imagination.

Workshop Flow
9.45am – Arrive, settle in
10.00am - 1.00pm – Morning creation session
1.00pm - 1.30pm – Light lunch + conversation
1.30pm - 4.30pm – Afternoon creation session

What to Bring
– Safety glasses or regular glasses
– Long, pointy-nose pliers (your new favourite tool)

$190 per person
Includes a nourishing light lunch, coffee, tea, morning + afternoon tea, and all materials supplied.
