Join us for a welcoming and informative morning exploring one of life’s most universal—but often avoided—topics.

Presented by Bulimba Community Centre in proud partnership with Sherryl Searles, Director of Honouring the Season, Dying to Know Day brings together experienced professionals and community organisations to help you better understand and plan for end-of-life decisions.

Hear from a wonderful range of speakers and visit information stalls covering topics including:

Advance Care Planning
Palliative Care
Funeral Planning
Wills & Estates
Voluntary Assisted Dying
Home-based Care
Legacy Planning

We’re also honoured to welcome Ambulance Wish Queensland, whose inspiring work creates meaningful final wishes for people living with a terminal illness.

A special presentation on Creating a Living Wake will explore the growing movement of celebrating life while you’re still here—sharing stories, gratitude and connection with the people who matter most.

Whether you’re planning ahead for yourself, supporting a loved one, or simply want to learn more, this event provides a safe, respectful and compassionate space to ask questions, access trusted information and begin important conversations.
