National Eucalypt Day 2023 - Guided Tour at the Melton Botanic Garden
Event description
To celebrate the 10th National Eucalypt Day, take a guided walking tour through the 3ha Dryland Eucalyptus Arboretum at the Melton Botanic Garden. These Eucalypts tolerate a dry climate and low water conditions specifically chosen from regions in Australia with 450mm or less of rainfall. Many are small and suitable for growing in pots or small gardens. You will be amazed by what you discover about Eucalypts on this tour. The 100 plus species of Eucalypts are a Nationally Registered Collection with Plant Trust.
Eucalypts will be on sale at the Nursery. The walk is about 90 minutes and is led the arboretum Project Managers David and Barb Pye.
Please bring your own water and refreshments.
