The Tāmaki branch of Māori counsellors warmly welcomes all Māori counsellors and supervisors from around the motu to this 3 day hui.
Our invitation is for any NZAC student member, provisional members and members who whakapapa Māori.
There is no cost to attendees as this hui is put on by NZAC.
Venue: Whaiora marae, 18 Otara Rd, Otara, South Auckland.

We are excited about our hui which begins 2.30pm Thursday 2 May with a powhiri.
Programme includes our presenters:
• Lloyd and Hinga Whiu presenting on Their journey.
• Hira Nathan: Kia ū ki te pai, kia whai hua ai / hold on to what is good and good things will follow. Whakawhetai Gratitude journalling.
• Raynor Huia : Weaving of Two Practices Indigenous, Mahi Wairua and Western, Narrative practice.
• Tania Whatirangi-Bell: Te Pū O te Manawa- A Mãori-centric Model of Therapy for Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse.
• Leah Menage: Aroha mai Aroha atu.
• Hera Cotter: Mirimiri korero & ko Te Piko.
Mirimiri rongoa half hour sessions by Caline Ruri 9-3pm for a $10 koha
We have NZAC korero and business
• Rangi Davis and Donna Copeland presenting on values and ethics
• Assessment team presentation
Hera Cotter will guide us through Ko Te Piko, a type of Māori Tai Chi.
Fabulous kai of course, including hangi.
