National NAIDOC Forum and ALIWAH Networking
Event description
To coincide with Boorloo (Perth WA) being chosen as the host City for the National NAIDOC Awards on Sat 5th July 2025, we thought it would be a great opportunity to celebrate with a formal National NAIDOC Forum the day before on Friday 4th July 2025 at the same venue Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre.
We have invited approx 14 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Speakers from WA and across Australia to share their amazing, inspiring stories of their achievements as well as what NAIDOC Week means to them as this year marks the 50th Anniversary of NAIDOC.
The Program is action packed with breakout Sessions in the afternoon involving Cultural Activities by various Aboriginal Facilitators.
We have invited a number of Aboriginal Stallholders to see their fabulous products on the day particularly NAIDOC Merchandise.
After the formal Forum we then invite delegates and invited guests to join us at the Aliwah Networking Event in the same venue from 5.00 -7.00pm.
We will be serving alcoholic/ non alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, canapes and entertainment will be provided.
