Driving social performance in our work

Imagine if the projects you worked on or every dollar your organisation spend could also drive positive social impact for communities, our people and the planet? That’s the potential we all have in driving social performance in the jobs that we hold.

According to KPMG, 94% of CFOs believe social will be an important priority in 2030 and 90% of companies plan to dedicate more resources to ESG, not less. So how do we deliver more outcomes in the “Social” pillar of ESG?

Join us for an enlightening online session where we’ll explore how John Holland Group delivered social outcomes on the Melbourne Water’s Hobsons Bay Main (HBM) Project, which led them to win the "Social" in ESG Frontrunner title at the 2024 Game Changer Awards for Victoria & Tasmania.

We’ll be joined by:

Rebecca Smith, Communications, Stakeholder Engagement Manager at John Holland Group;

James Le, Senior Project Manager at Melbourne Water; and

Sisay Dinku at Multicultural Consulting Services, a certified social enterprise.

During the session:

Learn how the project exceeded their social targets – the key things they did for success

Hear how the project attracted and retained top female talent in construction, achieving outstanding gender parity with 50% female engineers.

Understand the strength of client-relationship between John Holland Group and Melbourne Water, collaborating to drive social performance

Explore how to work with certified social enterprises to make projects a success

Find out how John Holland Group continues to drive their social impact strategy forward

Don't miss your opportunity to gain valuable insights and be inspired to create more social value and not just profit for a fairer, more equitable and sustainable Australia.
