Event description
Outdoor Education Australia and co-host Outdoors Victoria will host the National Outdoor Education Conference (NOEC) 2024 from Wednesday (afternoon) 4th to Friday 6th December 2024, inclusive.
This is a biennial Conference held nationwide for 46 years since 1978. It is the first time NOEC has been held in Victoria since 2007. We expect around 600 people from the sector, and tickets will sell out, so don't miss out on booking your tickets!
The event will be held at the beautiful Federation University Australia’s Gippsland Campus, Victoria, which is less than 2 hours south-east of Melbourne. There will be coach services from Tullamarine Airport for inter-state or international participants. More information to come. There will be a number of accommodation options, including camping with hot showers and accommodation in the University residences, with bookings open later in April. We will also be providing information about offsite accommodation options at that time.
You can expect inspiring keynote presenters, an exhibitor hall of over 30 participants, including equipment businesses, NFPs, and government agencies brimming with resources, ample networking opportunities, and carefully crafted professional development sessions and workshops that will inspire innovation and empower you to thrive in a dynamic and changing environment.
We plan to create a comprehensive program that covers a range of important topics across FIVE different streams:
- Outdoor education discovery: Profiling the latest developments
- The restorative nature of the Outdoors: Growing community health & wellbeing
- Indigenous connections & diverse communities: Embracing different perspectives
- Action on climate change: Embedding sustainable practices & being climate-ready
- Strong foundations: Building quality operations & supporting thriving teams
TICKET INFORMATION
- Tickets are available from the 18th of April until 11:55 pm November 20th, 2024
- We have regular 3-day tickets, 2-day tickets, or you can purchase a single-day ticket for any of the days
- OV Affiliate Supporters and their staff receive a significant discount on all tickets. If your school/organisation is listed here, access discounted tickets with a CODE (email info@outdoorsvictoria.org.au if you haven't received the CODE). If not listed, join us as an affiliate member on this website for discounts!
- Students receive a discount on all tickets (please have your student card or number ready at checkout)
Complimentary tickets
- Everyone needs to register, even if you're eligible for a complimentary ticket. This ensures we capture everyone's contact details, and special requirements.
- Presenters, exhibitors, staff and volunteers will be sent a code to access complimentary/discounted tickets when registering

- Pay online - complete the registration process and choose to pay directly via credit card (preferred method)
- Pay via invoice - complete the registration process and choose pay via invoice. We will email you with an invoice to be paid within 14 days via direct debit
