Cultural Walking Tours | National Reconciliation Week

South Eveleigh invites you to stand with us this National Reconciliation Week as we honour First Nations peoples and deepen our understanding of Australia’s shared story.

This National Reconciliation Week, join us for a unique Cultural Tour at South Eveleigh, facilitated by Aunty Donna Ingram, proud Wiradjuri woman born and raised on Gadigal land and co-designed with Aunty Joanne Selfe. Embark on a storytelling journey through the rich history and cultural significance of this iconic site. Reflecting this year’s theme Bridging the Now to Next, the walking tour will highlight South Eveleigh's transformation from natural plains to a traditional industrial hub to a vibrant innovation Precinct, emphasizing its deep connections to First Nations heritage and the contributions of Indigenous Australians. 

Highlighting the ongoing efforts to foster reconciliation through community engagement and more, this tour offers an opportunity to connect with the past, appreciate the present, and contribute to a future of mutual respect and understanding.

Meeting point located at the Cultural Landscape Garden - Innovation Plaza, opposite Anita Gelato. 

Please ensure you arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the tour commencing. 

All ticket proceeds will be donated to Wyanga Aboriginal Aged Care.
