The National Redress Scheme was established by the Federal Government to support survivors of institutional child sexual abuse.
It commenced on 1 July 2018 and is open to applications until 30 June 2027.
Seven Victorian Redress Support Services are collaborating to provide you with detailed information about how to assist clients on their journey.
The half day workshop will cover:
- Detailed information about the National Redress Scheme, Victorian Stolen Generations Reparations Package and Territories Stolen Generations Redress Scheme
- Information on how to access free and independent lawyers and financial counsellors
- Presentations from Victorian Redress Support Services including CALD and First Nations providers
- A workshop exploring cultural safety and trauma informed practice
- Interactive Q & A sessions
- Information resources for you to take away
