Wed, 25 Nov, 9am - 5pm AEDT

Description

The 21st National Strategic Blood Forum, hosted by Lifeblood, brings together leaders from government, healthcare, research, industry and policy to examine the key pressures shaping Australia’s blood sector.

This year’s program focuses on four priorities: strengthening immunoglobulin sustainability, preparing for emerging blood products, maintaining confidence in blood safety, and making the best use of a finite blood supply.

Through expert presentations, panel discussions and audience Q&A, participants will explore changing clinical demand, emerging product needs, evolving safety risks, and opportunities to improve stewardship across the system. The forum will focus on practical actions, shared perspectives and the partnerships needed to support a resilient, sustainable blood sector for patients and communities across Australia.
