National Strategy for Volunteering - be part of the action!

The first Three-Year action plan is being developed and we want to hear from Tasmania's volunteering industry.
As we welcome the incoming governments commitment to a state volunteering strategy, it is important that the voice of our state is heard in the context of the national strategy. By contributing to this process, we are paving the way for nationally consistent and locally responsive volunteering infrastructure, right to our community’s door.
The National Strategy for Volunteering is for everyone, whether you are a volunteer, a researcher, a policy writer, a CEO, or a leader of volunteers. The aim of the action plan is to provide clarity and direction for the volunteering ecosystem so we can collectively achieve the shared vision in the strategy: to make volunteering the heart of Australian communities.
This workshop will provide us with an opportunity to share perspective and insights on what should be included in the plan.
During this session there will be opportunities for everyone in the volunteering ecosystem to participate. We will discuss the content of the action plan and hear about the commitments from key stakeholders.
