National Tree Day 2023
Event description
Help enhance habitat of the flight path of the threatened Superb Parrot by lending a hand at the community tree planting activity for National Tree Day. This year the Charles Sturt University Farm has kindly offered a community tree planting site.
When: Sunday, 30 July, 10am - 12 noon
Where: 224 Cambourne Lane, Gobbagombalin NSW 2650
Directions: Parking off Cambourne Lane. A map will be emailed to registered participants
All participants will receive a FREE BBQ Lunch provided by Council and Wagga Wagga Urban Landcare and a FREE native seedling to take home to plant.
Planting equipment will be supplied but please wear sturdy, enclosed footwear and warm clothing and bring along a pair of gardening gloves and a drink bottle.
Please note there will be no toilet facilities on site.
