National Tree Day 2024

Thank you for celebrating National Tree Day with us!
This year for National Tree Day Wagga Wagga City Council has partnered with Regional Growth NSW Development Corporation to host a community tree planting event at Bomen on Sunday 28 July 2024.
When: Sunday, 28 July, 10am - 12.30pm
Where:Â 4 Trahairs Road, Bomen
Directions: After turning into Trahairs Road, it’s the first gate on the right-hand side but you’ll see the National Tree Day sign on the gate. The site is a working farm so please follow directions to parking area and stay within the safety area.Â
All participants will receive a FREE light Lunch provided by Council and ErinEarth.
Planting equipment will be supplied but please wear sturdy, enclosed footwear and dress appropriately for the weather and bring along a pair of gardening gloves and a drink bottle.Â
Also, as this a waste free event, please bring our own drinking cup or water bottle, and a soup mug.
Please note there will be no toilet facilities on site.
Please be aware that photographs may be taken at this event by any of the various associated parties to be used for promotion on social media or in any third-party publication. Please speak up if you do not wish to have your photo taken and/or used for such purposes.
