National Tree Day - Coastal Planting Event
Event description
Come along to plant some coastal seedlings and help restore the dunes at Whitfords Nodes on National Tree Day.
When? National Tree Day - Sunday 28 July 2024
Time? 9am – 11am. We will start at 9:00am with a safety briefing and finish around 11am with morning tea.
Where to meet? Whitfords Nodes Park, look out for the Perth NRM banner
What to bring? Please bring enclosed shoes, long pants, hat, water bottle and sun protection. Wet weather gear advised if rain is forecasted. We will supply gloves and planting equipment.
Morning Tea? There will be vegetarian morning tea. Please advise any other dietary requirements at the checkout when booking your ticket.
Registration: Please register for catering or if we need to notify you of event date change. This event is free, all ages welcome. Children under 16 are required to be supervised by a parent or guardian. If you do see this event last minute, please just come along.
This event is organised by the Friends of Hillarys and Kallaroo Foreshore, Perth NRM and the City of Joondalup, with support from the Western Australian Government’s State NRM Program.
