You are invited to join City of Boroondara for a community planting day event to celebrate National Tree Day. All you need to do is register now and turn up on the day ready to plant!

Please bring a water bottle, gloves and a trowel (if you have these), a kneeling mat (if needed) and wear appropriate footwear.

When: Sunday 26th July from 10am - 12pm
Where: Please meet in Ferndale Park (between Denman Avenue and Goodwin street).

Address: Ferndale Park, Glen Iris.

There will be a coffee truck onsite selling hot drinks and snacks. Each registered volunteer will receive 1 x hot drink and 1 x cookie/slice voucher, as a thank you for your contribution. Please bring a reusable cup to the event, to help cut down on waste.

Please note: the closest public toilet is approximately a 5 minute walk from the event site (next to Ferndale Park Playground). As we are expecting a large amount of volunteers to this event, please walk or ride if possible. If driving, please abide by local parking restrictions in adjoining streets.

Children may attend, however must have an adult guardian present throughout the event. It is the guardian’s responsibility to supervise your child. Please keep an eye on the weather forecast. We will email attendees if we need to cancel/postpone any events. Please keep an eye on your emails prior to the event for updates.
