National Tree Day at Mullum Mullum Reserve
Event description
Celebrate National Tree Day by joining the Leo Club of Melbourne Next Gen and Manningham Council’s annual community planting session along the Mullum Mullum Creek Trail on Sunday, 27 July, from 10.00am to 12.00pm.
Tree planting is one of our club’s most meaningful service projects—each seedling we plant helps heal the land and protect our environment for generations to come.
Bring your family and friends to help create a thriving habitat corridor along the creek and its surrounds. With your support, we hope to plant over 3,000 indigenous young plants.
The Council team will be on hand to show you how and where to plant to best support local wildlife.
What to wear
Please dress for the weather and wear sensible, sturdy shoes.
What to bring
All tools, equipment and plants will be provided. Just bring your gardening gloves, a water bottle, and any snacks you’d like.
Where to meet
Enter via Reynolds Road, Donvale. Parking is available at the Mullum Mullum Sports Precinct.
Planting will take place along the creek trail, marked by signage and marquees (please refer to the map).
