Celebrate National Wattle Day in 2024 by registering for a community planting session hosted by Manningham Council’s Bushland Team.

Meeting at Stiggant Reserve carpark, we encourage you to bring along your family and friends and help plant native trees and vegetation to protect the rivers natural environment. Our team will provide advice on how and where to plant the plants to support local habitat.

Accessibility: This event is wheelchair friendly. There are ramps along the river to get down along the riverside walk (wide gravel paths run along the river).

We'll provide all the tools, equipment, and plants. All you need to bring is a personal water bottle and any snacks.

About Riverfest

This event is part of the 2024 Birrarung Riverfest. Celebrate our river at one of 30+ events being hosted over three weeks from 1- 22 September.
