National Wine Centre Open Day 2026

On Tuesday 6 October, the National Wine Centre will celebrate its 25th Anniversary with a special Open Day, opening its doors for two complimentary hosted tours at 11am and 3pm.

Led by the Centre's expert Sommelier team, guests will discover the rich history of Australian wine and the origins of the National Wine Centre. Each tour concludes with a tasting of wine.

The Open Day will also feature a special exhibition tracing the history of the National Wine Centre, with a particular focus on the building's distinctive architecture and design.

Join the National Wine Centre in celebrating a quarter-century of storytelling and step through Adelaide’s gateway to the Australian wine story.

• Morning Tour: 11am–11.30am (approx)

• Afternoon Tour: 3pm–3.30pm (approx)

Cost: Free, with registration

Tickets will be available to book from 12pm, Thursday 1 October 2026.

Registration is required to attend these tours. Please register for one session only. Limit of two people per registration.

This event is open to all ages, however the complimentary wine will only be offered to those 18 years and older. We may request proof of age.

This is a walking tour and includes some stairs. Please advise if you have any access requirements and we will do our best to accommodate.
