Grass Identification
Event description
Join us for a hands-on identification workshop to discover native grasses and understand the importance of these species in the landscape. You will learn to recognise the difference between native and non-native species.
Open to beginners and those wanting to hone their ID skills.
Andrew Fairney from Seeding Natives will lead the workshop and offer tips and tricks on how to identify native grasses. There will be an opportunity to walk a nearby grassy area to collect specimens for identification.

What to wear: sturdy footwear, sun protection, long pants and sleeves.
