A celebration of insect life in The Gums Reserve in the revegetated and grassed area, as well as the Brookside Cellars Community Arts Centre.
Program:
1030: Welcome.
1040: The wonderful world of native bees and focus on the Green Carpenter Bee (Xylocopa aerata), endangered on Kangaroo Island – Dr Katja Hogendoorn
1100: "Creating Native Bee Art" – Ann Whitby (ArtHouse).
1130: "Native Bees in The Gums and what you can find there" Ian Johnson (TGLG).
1230: Sausage Sizzle (Beef sausages, onions and bread. Other dietary options must be pre-ordered.)
