Native Bees in Your Backyard

Join us for Native Bees in your Backyard part of our Backyards for Biodiversity Series with Habitat Connection Co.

This session will help participants better understand the vital role of native bees and how their garden can become a safe, buzzing haven for these important pollinators.

Topics include:

• How to design bee-friendly gardens using local native plants

• Nesting needs and habits of solitary native bees

• Key plants that provide nectar throughout the year

• Common native bee species you’re likely to spot in your area

• Simple garden features to support bees (e.g. bare soil, bee hotels, water sources)
