Native Blooms, Bush Critters with Speckles (Ages 6-12)

Using natural items including nuts, seed pods, leaves and native flowers, this class is a day of Australiana fun. Speckles – Arty Classes encourage the children to splash out and express their boundless imaginations in a relaxed and creative environment. They will have the opportunity to paint, draw, experiment with print making, make sculptures, do some weaving and many other hands-on craft activities. We will explore different techniques using a wide variety of art materials including acrylic and watercolour paints, inks, oil, chalk, and wax pastels, airdry clay, wool, wire, and beads. We will also experiment with colour mixing, pattern making, and other design techniques.

It is always a delight to see the children marvel at their own creations. They will finish their busy day at Speckles - Arty Classes with their many creations, to bring home and show to their families.

Please send children with nut-free snack, lunch and a water bottle.
