Description

Want to get better at recognising the native plants growing on your property? Want to learn about native seed collecting? Join North West Local Land Services for a practical workshop led by experienced native plant and seed collection practitioners.

Event details:

You can attend one workshop or join us for several. Each workshop will cover the plants and conditions available at that time of year, while attending multiple workshops will help you build your knowledge and confidence across a wider range of native species.

To make the most of seasonal conditions, the exact field site for each workshop will be selected approximately two weeks beforehand. Registered participants will be emailed the location and directions once confirmed.

Workshop dates:

  • Narrabri - 11 November 2026

  • Moree - 18 November 2026

  • Barraba/Bingara - 17 March 2027

  • Nundle - 24 March 2027

Everyone with an interest in local native plants or native seed collection is welcome.

Additional details: The cost of these workshops is free, and lunch will be provided.
