Native Plant Propagation Workshop

At this hands on workshop which will end with you taking home a few trays of native seedlings to grow for your own native garden. Or if you can help propagate plants for Tarwin Landcare planting projects.

We are thrilled to have the expertise of group members Lorraine Norden and David Carew, plus Jim Ahon who has started his own community nursery for Korumburra Landcare

• The session will cover

• Seed storage and pre-treatments

• Seed raising mixes

• Seed sewing techniques and how to "prick out seedlings"

• Growing plants from cuttings

• After care of seedlings.

Morning tea provided.

All materials are included in the ticket cost and remember you take home your seeds and seedlings with you.
