    Event description

Ever thought about propagating the natives in your garden? Join us for a hands-on workshop at Shepherds Bush, hosted by Monash Council and the passionate Friends of Dandenong Valley Parklands.

Many native plants can be propagated using basic tools and methods. It’s a fun and low-cost way to increase the amount of indigenous or native plants in your garden, create more habitat for wildlife and help our environment out.

This workshop will start with a tour of the indigenous plant garden and propagation nursery run by the Friends of Dandenong Valley Parklands. Then you'll learn about the basics of plant propagation, equipment you will need and methods of propagating. The session will include a demonstration from The Friends Of Dandenong Valley Parklands, along with a hands-on component where you can take your fresh propagations home!

So come take part to learn the perks of propagating!

    Meeting point:
The Parks depot at 95 Shepherd Bush Road
