Native Seed Saving for Gardeners

Whether you already have a native garden, or would like to start one, join us to learn all about native seed collection and increasing native biodiversity in your garden. During this insightful workshop you will learn how to collect the different native seeds from your habitat garden, when best to pick them, and how to store them correctly. You will even get to take home some native seeds to get you started.

Presenting this workshop as part of Biodiversity Month, David has a background in conservation land management and a wealth of experience working in the many aspects of conservation and plant propagation. As part of this work, David founded Seeds 2 Leaves nearly a decade ago, with a mission to conserve the plants and ecosystems of the Victorian Volcanic Plains.
