Natural Cleaning: A Low Waste Living Workshop
Description
Back by popular demand, our Natural Cleaning workshop is returning after a run of sold-out events.
Join us for an evening focused on simple, affordable ways to keep your home clean, with low-tox, low-waste swaps that can save you money.
This workshop is a mix of hands-on making and live demos. You’ll get stuck in and make your own laundry powder, scent jars, and toilet pods to take home, while also watching demonstrations on how to create other natural cleaning products like multi-purpose spray, cream cleaner, and more. It’s all designed to be easy, practical, and doable in everyday life.
Led by Low Waste Living expert Ruth Blunt, the session is packed with tried and tested tips to help reduce waste at home. Ruth will share all the recipes, insights and a price comparison to show how much money you can save by making the switch.
We’ll also keep you fuelled with some delicious low waste kai, including our famous daal, dip and bread, along with natural teas.
Whether you’re looking to save money, reduce toxins in your home, or cut down on waste, this workshop will give you practical tools you can start using straight away.
Tickets are $10 and include kai, drinks, and your take-home creations.
This Resourceful Communities event is proudly supported by Queenstown Lakes District Council’s Zero Waste District Programme.
