Welcome to our Lodge for Falling into Winter. This Lodge reminds us of an ancient way of being in relationship with all of life, doing ceremony together, participating and finding our way back to the trust in life and the wisdom of the great medicine wheel that is our journey through life.

In this ceremony all life is honored and and given to through prayers and songs and as we remember ourselves, the darkness that comes with forgetting leaves and we are renewed. The lodge is a ceremony where stones are heated in a large bonfire and then brought into the sweat lodge to provide the heat that makes the steam that cleanses and carries our prayers to all of creation. This is a beautiful earth based ceremony that brings us into the present and helps us prepare for the coming times of falling into winter.

The Lodge will be Sunday Morning at 10, but I can always use help getting the lodge ready on Saturday. You might consider coming for the weekend. We will include a fire circle Saturday evening. Bring your tent to camp out overnight. The lodge will begin at 10am Sunday so fire-starters arrive at 10, others please come at 11 for orientation.

If you have never participated in a sweat lodge before please feel free to contact me to learn more about this beautiful ceremony. There are some contraindications for a few health conditions and you need to be able to get down and up from the ground with support. The lodge is down a hill a ways, moderate fitness is required but special arrangements can be made.
