Discover the alchemy of dyeing your very own naturally dyed scarf in this fun and relaxing Ravensthorpe workshop.
Join textile artist Charlene O'Brien, for a hands-on workshop filled with learning basic natural dye techniques. Using local bush plants from Western Australia, you will watch your scarf transform and emerge into stunning natural colour hues on silk!
During the workshop, which is perfect for beginners, you will learn how to create patterns and colour variations from the same dye colour bath. This is a super fun, informative and hands-on experience, perfect if you're looking for unique things to do in South West.
The best part is you'll walk away with your gorgeous naturally died scarf and the know-how to create unique, eco-friendly dyes and colour fabrics until your heart's content!

One scarf naturally dyed by you.
What to bring
Apron, small scissors and a notepad and pen. Also if you can bring some rusty nails, screws, bottle tops or anything small that you can wrap fabric around to put in a dye pot. Start searching where ever you are carparks, yards, sheds, anywhere!
