Natural Fibre Basket Weaving

Join seasoned basketer Louise, to create your very own ‘garlic basket’.  You will achieve this in 5 short hours, with lunch and cups of tea.

You will learn to make 2 ply cord from red hot poker and iris, then we will move onto creating your style ‘garlic basket’, which is made from cordyline and other materials from the garden, that have been hunted and gathered for you. 

Some baskets have actually been used in the kitchen for garlic others have become an orchid holder under a tree.

You will also experience mindfulness and the sense of making something from nature, in a very hands on way.
