Natural Ultrasound: An Embodied Antenatal Experience
Event description
Personalised, individual session. Available Thursday evening, Saturday afternoon by appointment only. A unique, hands-on antenatal education session designed for women between 29–34 weeks of pregnancy — when your baby is big enough to palpate but you're still comfortable lying down.
Developed by renowned Mexican midwife Naolí Vinaver, this technique is a powerful alternative for communities without access to conventional technology. But it’s just as powerful here, to help reconnect you with your body, your baby, and your own birthing wisdom.
Together, we’ll explore your baby’s position, movement through the birth canal, and how you can optimise alignment for an instinctive birth. You’ll come away feeling confident, calm, and deeply connected.
🌸 What’s included:
- A gentle abdominal palpation to discover baby’s position
- A visual + tactile explanation of how babies move through the pelvis
- A beautifully decorated pregnant belly — bring a friend, mum, partner, or child to help paint!
- Time for Q&A with a registered midwife (with 10+ years experience and a Master’s in Health Research)
👥 Who can attend:
Pregnant women (29–34 weeks), with space for a support person — friend, family, or partner. Children welcome too! Perfect for a unique baby shower event, or gift for the pregnant person in your life.
