  • Preventing KI wilderness from being destroyed
  • Making beaches safe for birds

Following the presentations, there will be a panel discussion and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions relating to local nature issues.

There are limited seats, please ensure you book your FREE ticket today.

Conservation Community Expo

From 1pm-2pm & 4pm-5pm you will have a chance to meet and chat to local groups working on the ground to protect various parts of the Fleurieu and Kangaroo Island. Find out what you can do to help.

The group's will include:

  • Sellicks Woodlands & Wetlands Network
  • The Wild South
  • Willunga Environment Centre
  • Kangaroo Island Eco-Action
  • Hindmarsh Island Landcare
  • Friends of Gulf of St Vincent

This event will be the first of a series of Nature Forums to be held around South Australia.  Each one will focus on nature and environment issues of interest to the local area, as well as any other current state-wide issues.

We hope these forums will increase community engagement and awareness of nature and biodiversity and motivate citizens and groups to act to protect SA's wild places.
