Help spread the nature love!

The Nature Hero Micro Awards are about local people saying thank you to people in their neighbourhoods for keeping large trees, and planting native plants and flowers in their gardens, providing habitat for animals and insects, and cooling our suburbs.

These awards celebrate those who are helping to keep our neighbourhoods green - we want to reward the custodians of these natural environments by saying thank you.

How you can participate and help spread the nature love:

Pick up your Nature Hero Micro Award - Micro Award postcards, will be available in the City of Unley's libraries and community centres throughout the Nature Festival.
Let someone in your neighbourhood know why you love the nature and wild spaces in their garden - write a note and pop it in their letterbox. Add your name, or send an anonymous love letter to a garden you love!
Take photos of the wild and nature-filled gardens you love and tag them: #naturefestivalsa #greeningmyhood #naturehero #cityofunley
