An immersive nature-based experience of soulful connection and deepening our collective care for nature. This experience will take place in the beautiful Otways region.

This day experience provides you with the opportunity to connect with self and nature. You will be guided through a thoughtfully curated program of slow and mindful activities. The day will include a gentle yoga practice in a nature setting, a zero-waste and healthy plant-based lunch, an afternoon guided bushwalk through the stunning Otways cool-temperate rainforest, an open group discussion to explore how we can all be empowered to take local actions to help protect and support nature, and finishing off with a group mindfulness meditation session in nature to close our experience.

Your host, Aleisja, is a passionate environmentalist and yoga teacher, a local of the Otway Ranges, now residing on the Surf Coast. Aleisja has a deep connection with the region and loves to share her joy of being immersed in the nature that she loves. She works in government, across various programs that are supporting environmental sustainability, renewable energy and community engagement on climate action. As a yoga teacher, she prides herself on teaching supportive and inclusive yoga classes. She is now combining her local lived experience, university qualifications, skills, professional experience, and passion to provide a supportive space for people to connect with nature, with self and with community.
