Nature Immersion Day Retreat
Description
A quiet pause
Step away from the pace and noise of everyday life for a day of stillness, nourishment and reconnection in the beautiful setting of Endeavour Fern Gully, Red Hill (1 hour south of Melbourne).
This intimate day retreat offers a chance to slow down, settle the nervous system and reconnect with yourself through nature-based and embodied practices.
Across the day, you will be guided through an opening cacao circle, gentle movement, sound bath, breath meditation, and reflective writing. You will have the opportunity to spend time in nature - a guided forest walk and some solo time to soak up the forest air. This is the ultimate bite sized digital detox - a chance to pause. To unwind. To soften. To Listen.
Nature-based practices are increasingly valued in personal development, leadership and relationship work because they support qualities that are hard to access in a busy room or on a screen: presence, regulation, perspective, curiosity, listening and connection.
The journey of the day
This retreat follows a gentle rite-of-passage arc: stepping out of everyday life, meeting stillness, making space for what wants to emerge, and returning with intention.
Arrive and belong
We begin with a warm welcome, time to settle in and an opening cacao circle. This is a moment to cross the threshold from everyday life into a more intentional space, alongside a small group of people doing the same.Slow down and release
Through gentle movement, breath practice and guided meditation, you will be supported to settle your nervous system and become more present in your body. There will be space to reflect on what you may be ready to release or put down.
Time in nature
After a nourishing catered lunch, we will take a slow guided walk through the fern gully. Part of this walk will be in silence, with invitations to notice the sounds, textures, scents, rhythms and subtle beauty of the natural world.
Sit, listen and notice
The heart of the day is a supported hour of solo sit-time in nature. You will be guided through a simple sequence of sensory awareness, breath practice, silent mindfulness and journalling. This is not about forcing an insight. It is about becoming still enough to hear what may already be present.
Rest and integrate
The day closes with a restorative yin and sound journey, and a simple intention practice to take back into life with you.
Join me for this guided nature immersion - set in a ferny gully in Red Hill on the Mornington Peninsula - for a sense of spaciousness and peace, being able to meet life with greater presence and awareness.
