Get into the festive spirit the green way!
Join us on Wednesday, 10 December at the Port Environment Centre for an inspiring evening of nature learning and hands-on fun as we make handmade cards and homemade preserves. We will also explore great topics for community discussion.
Here’s what’s happening:
4:00 – 5:00 pm | TBC Handmade Greeting cards
Make a card for your family, yourself or an environmentally minded neighbour/friend you admire
5:00 – 6:00pm | Eco-Discussion: This month’s topics -
Article: 10 Tips for how to talk about climate change with friends and family
6:00 – 7:30pm | Festive Preserves Workshop
Learn from Lachlan from Permatil Global as he guides us through the basics of making homemade preserves, and how serving or gifting homemade products can be a meaningful part of the festive season or any celebration. Everyone can get hands-on with the preserves and take some home.
