Nature of the Onkaparinga Wetlands

Are you interested in taking an engaging waddle around Perry's Bend, Onkaparinga Wetlands? Well, join the Youth Environment Council mentors on this engaging and informative nature walk. Designed for youth who are passionate about the environment, this event will also be a great opportunity to find new interests, learn about the Youth Environment Council SA and connect with nature. 

Suitable for ages 5-12, a parent or guardian will need to attend to supervise. Supervising parent/guardian will need to order a ticket with any young person's ticket. 

On the walk we will talk about different factors of the environment and what we can do to help it thrive. Join in on our scavenger hunt (different difficulties depending on ages), as we try to find different flora and fauna. The walk will be approximately 2km and go from 10am-11:30am. 

We will supply binoculars, identification charts and pens. You will need to bring appropriate footwear, clothing, water, food and anything else necessary.
