Nature Play at Mukanthi Playground

Leap into frog life with Nature Play SA! Join the team and the rangers for a morning of nature fun and environmental learning. This is a hands-on nature experience where children and families can discover the fascinating life cycle of frogs. Paint the states from tadpole to adult, on rocks to take home. Enjoy watercolour painting inspired by nature and explore creative loose parts play. We will be set up near the creek where we may also get to hear some frogs!

• This is a free, drop-in activity suitable for children of all ages, any time between 10 and 12noon.

• Please ensure you register, so we can manage the numbers.

• Children must be supervised at all times.

Meeting Point:

Mukanthi Nature Play Space car park off Stradbroke Road, Morialta Conservation Park.

What to Bring:

All materials will be provided. Please also bring:

• Appropriate clothing for the weather - eg raincoats, gum boots etc

• Water, snacks and any personal medication required

• Your sense of winter fun!

Accessibility:

Most of the activity will be under a gazebo in one location near the carpark. There is disabled parking available and an accessible toilet.

Cancellations:

• This event will be cancelled in the event of a park closure, severe weather or a total fire ban being declared in the Adelaide Metropolitan Fire Ban District.
